Policies:
Returns and Exchanges:
I want my customers to be happy with their purchase. Please ask any questions you have before ordering to avoid disappointment when you receive your order. Please measure your child and/or their clothes that fit carefully before ordering. Please contact me as soon as possible if a return/exchange is needed. You may return unwashed unused items, but items that have been washed and worn will not be eligible for a refund unless there is a workmanship issue. If you ship the product back within 14 days, I can offer a full refund or store credit. If you ship the product back after 14 days of receipt, I can only offer store credit. I can not accept returns on custom items unless the item or turn around time is grossly misrepresented. This would include some custom sizes such as shortened inseams or arms since resale would be difficult. My warranty is only valid for the original purchaser. Thank you!
Shipping and Handling:
Shipping and Handling has been free in the past. I have recently made changes to that policy by reducing the product cost and listing shipping charges separately. This will allow customers to purchase multiple items and save on shipping. It will also reduce confusion for international buyers. All packages shipped to US customers receive delivery confirmation and can be tracked through paypal shipping. All international packages will be shipped via the least expensive shipping option (first class international) and do not include insurance or tracking. International customers who wish to add insurance will need to contact me so that I can compute international insurance costs.
Care:
My items are hand made using professional quality equipment. However, these items are not made in a factory. I have strict quality standards, but because the items are hand-made, minor imperfections are possible. I will often list an item as “second quality” if I find that it is a noticeable flaw. Please use care when opening the snaps and washing the items.
Wool products arrive to you having been sewn from wool which has been washed in a generous amount of Eucalan (lanolin enriched detergent). You can feel free to start using the shorts and pants without the need to lanolize the item. If you want additional moisture protection, you can lanolize them but I find they work great without additional lanolizing. To care for wool products, wash them by hand in a lukewarm basin. Do not soak wool items for more than 5 minutes to protect the wool colors from running. My favorite detergent choice for wool care is Eucalan. This wool wash is gentle enough to protect wool colors and contains lanolin to boost the moisture barrier of the wool. To dry the wool pants and shorts, pull out the inner diaper cover. This will allow the item to dry faster, and will minimize the possibility of color transfer in the case where the wool colors are different. You can either lay flat to dry on a towel, or try draping it over a plastic hanger for faster drying.
